We buried a family member today. That dreaded cancer killed off another person who was in the prime of his life and nearing retirement.
Cancer is running rampid, the battle is being lost. When you think of all the money that has gone into the No Smoking campaign; consider there are less smokers today but more deaths from cancer. What is being missed?
My personal opinion is that the real cause is in the food we eat, along with the air we breathe. Chemicals are killing us.
There is more preservatives, hormones and flavour enhancers in our food than ever before. Beef are inoculated to grow faster, chickens are fed medicated feed to help them put on weight or produce more eggs, milk does not go sour after 2 days it goes rotten after 2 weeks. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. More than likely keeping the doctors busy. That apple is sprayed with pesticide every 7 days to make it worm free and spot free and it is sprayed with some pretty strong pesticides. We don't have a clue what other countries are spraying but we sure like those imported foods.
We only want the best and nicest looking fruits and vegetables. Chemicals are left up to a farmer to determine how much to spray to get us perfect looking fruit. On the package it may say, don't spray within ten days of harvest. But if the crop is being eaten up with bugs and the farmer is about to lose his pocket book, What do you think the decision will be? We are paying the price with our lives by demanding perfection.
Those prepared and packaged meals in the grocery store are full of flavour enhancers & preservatives. Most of the new generation don't even remember what good food tastes like. Cancers are not as prevalent in some countries because they grow their own with out the help of big companies and their chemicals.
We are what we eat, make no mistake about it.
